Faith-Based Activities

At Tabernacle, our primary goal is to help people in their spiritual journey. Join us weekly on Sunday mornings and once a month on Sunday evenings for a time of worship and fellowship, or drop by on Wednesday afternoons to learn more about the contents of our faith.

Sunday Morning Worship

11 am, Tabernacle Main Chapel

Join us for our main worship service each Sunday at 11 am. Hear expository and topical preaching alongside classic hymns and worship songs. Join us after the service in our Community Centre for a time of fellowship with tea or coffee and biscuits. Communion is celebrated during the service on the first Sunday of each month and on major holidays. Services on 3rd and 5th Sundays are held in the Community Centre instead of the Main Chapel. Ordinary services last approximately 50 minutes, and communion services 1 hour.

Wednesday Bible Study

2 pm, Tabernacle Community Centre

RESUMING 28 JANUARY

Gain a deeper acquaintance with Scripture through our weekly Bible study. Each session lasts approximately 1 hour and usually covers half a chapter. We are currently studying the Gospel of Luke.

Contemplative Worship

3rd Sundays, 7 pm

RESUMING IN FEBRUARY

Join us on Sunday evenings once a month for a relaxed time of prayer and meditation. Each service is a little different, incorporating readings, simple songs, gentle movement, and periods of silence. Casual dress is encouraged. This service lasts approximately 40 minutes.
