Our Minister

Rev. Anthony Batterton has been Tabernacle's minister since October 2023.  Anthony comes to Pembrokeshire from Virginia in the United States, where he had a varied career as a tour guide for historic sites and a family history researcher, among other professions.  He studied Religious Studies at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA, focusing on early Christianity and associated aspects of Judaism.  Anthony brings an informed, scholarly approach to faith, and particularly enjoys illuminating the historical context of the Bible.  When he's not at his desk or in the pulpit, Anthony can be found exploring Pembrokeshire on foot, getting his boots muddy exploring historic sites or looking for fossils at the beach.
